Description

Feldspar is a kind of crystalline mineral that consists of aluminum, sodium, potassium and calcium silicates and is found in igneous rocks. Feldspars are one of the most important igneous rock minerals. Feldspars are divided into three groups: calcic, potassic and sedic.

applications:

  • Ceramics and glass industry: Feldspars are used as one of the most important raw materials in the production of ceramics and glass and are used as a melting agent in forming the structure and other properties of materials.
  • Mineral industry: Feldspars are used as an important mineral in the mining and mineral extraction industry.
  • Production of fertilizers: Feldspars are used as a source of potassium and sodium in the production of various agricultural fertilizers.

Maintenance:

Feldspars should be stored in a dry and cool environment to avoid the effects of humidity and high temperature.
Contact with oxidizing agents or chemical compounding agents should be avoided to prevent undesirable reactions.
Physical impact or cracks should be avoided during transportation to protect the quality of the material.
