Description

Sodium humate is a chemical compound consisting of humic acid and sodium hydroxide. Humic acid is an organic agricultural fertilizer that expands the molecular structure and can be combined with various types of elements. Humic compounds in nature, such as Leonardite, lignite, etc., have low purity, low exclusive dissolution in water, and long time to decompose in the soil. This compound has unique chemical properties, some of them, applications and storage conditions of sodium humate are discussed below:

  1. Agriculture: Sodium humate is used as a soil conditioner. This combination can help improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil and affect the growth of plants.
  2. Mining industry: In mining processes, sodium humate is used as an auxiliary material in the formation and composition of mineral coals.
  3. Environment: This compound is used in the water and wastewater treatment industry as an auxiliary substance in water treatment and discharge processes.

Maintenance:

  • Sodium humate should be stored in a dry and cool environment to avoid the effect of humidity and high temperature.
  • Contact with oxidizing agents or strong bases should be avoided to prevent undesirable degradation reactions.
  • Physical impact or cracks should be avoided during transportation to protect the quality of the material.
